METHODOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE FRAGMENTARY HISTORICAL ENVIRONMENT REGENERATION PRACTICE ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE UGLICH KREMLIN WALL

Abstract (English):
The paper considers the designing process of historical environment regeneration from a methodological point of view. The authors present a systematisation of the main principles and methods of the contextual approach to the design of historical environment reconstruction and regeneration. The authors also give recommendations for optimising the design solutions of the regeneration objects in the historical environment. The project of fragmentary reconstruction – regeneration of the Uglich Kremlin log wall is considered as an example of methodological analysis.
